Research on deflagration behavior of gas and gas-coal dust in a vertical pressure relief pipeline system

Gas explosion and gas-coal dust are serious disasters in coal mine production. To further study the hazards of gas under different conditions, experiments were done this paper a pipeline system containing an pressure relief pipeline. Flame propagation behavior overpressure dynamics analyzed. divided into three stages: spherical flame, round-finger pointed-finger flame. front position increases with time showing class exponential growth trend. velocity has been increasing When flame rushes out PVC membrane enters pipeline, decreases slightly. The rapidly With growing concentration, peak rises at first, then decrease, keeps rising. Peak overpressures obtained concentrations 9vol% 13vol%, respectively. 7vol% reaction, during all lower than those 11vol% 13vol% two types explosions higher
